Welcome from the Club Chair

I would take this opportunity to thank each of our volunteers for the continuous effort and commitment as they give up their valuable time on evenings and weekends to ensure we give all our players an opportunity to play the sport they love. After the huge impact of the COVID 19 pandemic it was great to see football return earlier this year. This has been a very challenging time not only for those who play for the Club and their families, but also our supporters, helpers and sponsors.

I am hoping as we move into the 2021/22 season, we can move towards a normal season, but this will obviously depend on advice and guidance from The FA and Government Bodies.

This has probably been the hardest time I and the Committee have ever experienced in football with lockdowns and football shutdowns, but we all needed to do our bit. Even though we have had these challenges we are still growing as a Club we now have several new teams starting, teams gaining new players, with a special mention to our Hawks U15 (2020/21) finishing second in Division 1 of the MKDDL.

I also want to highlight again what superb parents we have within the club with a large number of them continuing the pay their subscriptions even though they did not have too over the Pandemic. We cannot thank them enough for this help in this critical time as they have allowed the Club to keep paying the bills as they never stop no matter what.

We’ve now gained two new Men’s team, one entered into the North Bucks District League which play on Saturday afternoons and a Men’s B team who join in a lower division than our Men’s A Team in Milton Keynes Sunday League. Both of these give the Club a line of progression from Mini Kickers through the age groups to open age Football. These adult teams are always looking to recruit players so why not pop along to a training session as I am sure you would be made very welcome.

FA Wildcats will be commencing shortly to support girls of all ages to come and play football to all the girls out there why not come and try football it is great fun. Please monitor our website and our social media pages for announcements on when this will start.

We are always looking to recruit coaches in and around West Bletchley and Milton Keynes to come and help set up teams, all courses, uniform and equipment required will be provided. We have the facilities and the capacity to increase the number of teams we have and are willing to set up new teams in any age group depending on demand.

We are always looking for players who want to join our teams, so please contact us for any information you need and let’s see what we can do to support you going forward

I’d like to thank each player, parent, coach, admin, manager and committee member for their commitment and support to MK City FC. I’m sure this will continue into the future and support improving and promoting the Club.
